On a sunny day in Malibu, I had the privilege of photographing a stunning outdoor wedding at the Malibu Hindu Temple, located in the serene hills of Calabasas, California. The temple's intricate architecture and lush surroundings set the stage for a day filled with love, culture, and timeless beauty.
The day began with the bride and groom preparing for their union, surrounded by close family and friends. The bride adorned herself in a traditional red and gold saree, symbolizing prosperity and commitment, while the groom wore a classic sherwani, reflecting elegance and tradition.
The couple chose to exchange their vows in the open-air courtyard of the temple, surrounded by family, friends, and the breathtaking backdrop of the temple’s traditional South Indian architecture. The bride, radiant in a vibrant red and gold saree, and the groom, looking dapper in a cream sherwani, brought their cultural traditions to life with grace and elegance.
The ceremony was rich with meaningful rituals, including the exchange of garlands and the saptapadi, or seven steps around the sacred fire. Each moment of the ceremony was filled with emotion and reverence, creating a beautiful fusion of tradition and love.

Following the ceremony, we captured portraits of the newlyweds within the temple grounds. The temple's stunning architecture and tranquil gardens provided a perfect setting for timeless and authentic photographs. The couple's love and happiness radiated through each image, creating memories they will cherish forever.
As a destination wedding photographer, it was a privilege to document this union at such a culturally significant venue. The blend of traditional rituals and the couple's unique love story made this wedding truly special.
