Magical Pregnancy Announcement at Disneyland

Disneyland // Some photo sessions are extra special, and this one at Disneyland was nothing short of enchanting! When Ruby and Roger first reached out to me, their plan was to capture their engagement with a magical photo session at "the happiest place on Earth." Little did they know, their fairy tale was about to get even more exciting. Just weeks before our session, they found out they were expecting their first baby!

What started as an engagement shoot quickly became a dual celebration of their love and the new life they’re bringing into the world. We rescheduled for a later date, allowing them to plan the perfect announcement for both their engagement and pregnancy. The result? A session filled with double the joy, magic, and memories.

Disneyland is one of my favorite locations for photo sessions, and it’s easy to see why. From the vibrant backdrops to the whimsical atmosphere, it’s a place where memories come alive. For Ruby and Roger, it was the perfect setting to share their big news with family and friends.

We planned their session to make the most of the park’s iconic spots while keeping their announcement front and center. Ruby and Roger brought along some adorable props—a few onesies, a sonogram, and a Pooh Bear doll.

As a photographer, I love working with couples at Disneyland because there are endless creative opportunities. From the castle to the carousel, every corner of the park has a story to tell. And when you add a special announcement like this one, it becomes even more meaningful.
