Indian Canyons and Palm Canyon Honeymoon Photos

Indian Canyons and Palm Canyon//I was so honored when I was approached to photograph this lovely couple while they were visiting Palm Springs for their destination honeymoon (they were visiting all the way from North Carolina). We quickly bonded over our love for trying new food and new adventures!

They were only in town for a couple of days but wanted to have some photos captured to celebrate their recent nuptials! When we were trying to select a location, they decided they wanted something in the desert. I had just done a photo session near the Palm Springs Tramway that gave us a beautiful view of the mountains and desert but wanted to try a location I had not been to before. They had just finished exploring Joshua Tree and wanted something with a similar vibe. I suggested we go to Indian Canyons in Palm Springs and we took most of our photos at Andreas Canyon during golden hour.

These two were the sweetest couple and trusted me enough to play around and get creative with some of our shots (I wanted to incorporate the moon in some of the wide shots). I also asked if there were any MUST HAVE images for them, and they said they wanted to do the classic twirl photo because that was their signature pose. I loved every minute spent with them, and I know who I’m calling if I find myself in need of a good restaurant in North Carolina!
